Who we are
Car4Less was founded by Edward Thwaits, who spent decades in the South African motor industry — owning and operating multiple new-car franchise businesses, including Toyota, three Nissan dealerships and the original Delta stable (Isuzu and Opel). That hands-on experience is where the Car4Less idea was born.
The company spent more than three years working with major South African underwriting institutions to establish the performance guarantee framework behind the Payment Saver Plan — the programme that guarantees qualifying buyers up to R3 000 a month in value.
The result is a patented model that combines a real saving on the retail price of any new car with ongoing monthly rewards — so customers genuinely pay less, both upfront and every month thereafter.
