Is this a traditional franchise?+
It's structured as a business agency rather than a classic franchise: you purchase exclusive rights to operate the Car4Less model and keep what you earn — there are no ongoing royalties. We use the word franchise because it's familiar, but the agreement is an exclusive-rights business agency.
How does a Car4Less agency make money?+
Your agency earns income from qualifying new-car sales generated through your business consultants' marketing, posting and engagement activity. Car4Less handles supply through the national dealer network; your agency drives the demand.
Do I need motor industry experience?+
No. Car4Less provides full training for you and your team, plus ongoing call-centre support. The model is designed so that disciplined, consistent participation — not industry background — drives results.
Do agencies compete with each other?+
No. There is no cap on the number of agencies nationwide — a large city can support many and a smaller town a few — but they never compete, because every lead and every delivered sale is tracked back to the agency whose content or consultants generated it. What do my business consultants actually do?+
They create and share Car4Less content — promotional posts and short videos — according to a clear daily structure, generating awareness and leads that convert into car sales attributed to your agency.
Is the model compliant with the regulators?+
Yes. The business agency structure and the rewards framework were developed through extensive engagement with the FSCA (Financial Sector Conduct Authority), and the model is protected by a government-gazetted provisional patent. Full documentation is shared as part of the proposal pack.
How do I accept the agreement?+
After reviewing the full proposal and agreement with the team, acceptance is completed online — you read the agreement and confirm your acceptance of the terms. The team walks you through every step.
How much does a franchise cost?+
There are six capital-entry packages — R75 000, R150 000, R250 000, R500 000, R750 000 and R1 000 000. The package you choose sets the commission your agency earns per qualifying vehicle sale. The full income tables are published in the Business Agency Proposal on this site.
Does every package get the same marketing pack?+
No. The Marketing Pack is allocated per capital package — each Business Agency Owner receives a portion of the overall pack corresponding to the capital requirement paid. What your package includes is set out in your Business Agency Agreement.
How do I pay for my exclusive rights?+
Once you have requested and signed the standard Business Agency Agreement, you pay the once-off capital amount for your package using the banking details in the agreement. Your exclusive rights are secured when the payment is received and confirmed; onboarding starts straight away.
