What is Shop & Save?+
Shop & Save is the Car4Less loyalty rewards programme for qualifying participants in the Car4Less ecosystem. It turns your everyday shopping at participating partners — Checkers, Pick n Pay, Dis-Chem and Shoprite — into verified reward discounts worth up to R3 000 in monthly value. Rewards operate in connection with qualifying new-vehicle sales in the Car4Less ecosystem and are governed by the Terms & Conditions.
Do I pay less at the till?+
Not at first. You pay the normal retail price at the till and upload your official till slip to your Car4Less profile. Once your purchases are verified and your buying cycle is established, qualifying reward discounts become available — and qualifying members can present a reward code at the till at participating partners.
Why do I need to upload till slips?+
Verification is the heart of the programme. Each till slip is checked against qualifying products, categories and programme rules — it's how Car4Less confirms your participation and guarantees that verified rewards are honoured.
Is Shop & Save the same as the Payment Saver Plan?+
No — they are two separate programmes with separate rules. Post & Share (the Payment Saver Plan) rewards you for posting and sharing Car4Less content that leads to a verified car sale. Shop & Save rewards your verified everyday shopping. They are never combined into a single advertised amount.
How are Shop & Save rewards paid out?+
Qualifying rewards are distributed through an authorised rewards card mechanism, issued and administered by approved financial services providers and regulated under South African financial services legislation.
What happens if I miss the programme requirements?+
Shop & Save works on an all-or-nothing qualification basis: till slips must be uploaded, purchases must qualify, and participation requirements must be fully met. Where any requirement isn't satisfied, no reward becomes payable for that cycle — and where they are met, qualifying rewards are guaranteed. Car4Less performs the final assessment of every cycle in accordance with the Terms & Conditions.
Do I have to buy a car to join Shop & Save?+
