Shop as you always do
Buy your normal groceries and essentials at our participating partners — Checkers, Pick n Pay, Dis-Chem and Shoprite — paying the normal price at the till. No cards to swap, no changes to how you shop.

Scan or photograph each official till slip and upload it to your Car4Less profile. This is how your shopping is verified against the plan rules.

Consistent, verified shopping at the prescribed levels establishes your buying cycle and keeps your Shop & Save requirement on track, month after month.

Complete your qualification
Verified shopping, together with your Post & Share activity, completes your Payment Saver Plan participation — and you may receive the plan's ex gratia cash-back of up to R3 000 a month, subject to its terms and Car4Less's determination.

What is Shop & Save?+
Shop & Save is the verified-shopping requirement of the Car4Less Payment Saver Plan. Alongside Post & Share, it is one of the two parts of one plan: you complete prescribed, verified everyday shopping at participating partners — Checkers, Pick n Pay, Dis-Chem and Shoprite — as part of qualifying for the plan's potential cash-back of up to R3 000 a month. It is governed by the plan terms and the Terms & Conditions.
Is Shop & Save a second R3 000?+
No. Shop & Save is not a separate programme with its own reward. The Payment Saver Plan's benefit is a single ex gratia cash-back of up to R3 000 a month, subject to the plan's terms and Car4Less's final determination. Shop & Save is one of the requirements you meet to be considered for it.
Do I pay less at the till?+
No — you pay the normal retail price at the till and upload your official till slip to your Car4Less profile. The value comes through the Payment Saver Plan: verified shopping counts towards your qualifying participation.
Why do I need to upload till slips?+
Verification is the heart of Shop & Save. Each till slip is checked against qualifying products, categories and plan rules — it's how Car4Less confirms that your shopping requirement has been met.
How does Shop & Save fit with Post & Share?+
They are two parts of one plan. Post & Share asks for three approved posts a day on each of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn, every day — every post is approved by Car4Less before it is released — and for you to join the prescribed groups. Shop & Save asks for your verified everyday shopping. Meet both in full and you may receive the plan's ex gratia cash-back of up to R3 000 a month. You don't have to sell a car to be considered.
What happens if I miss the shopping requirement?+
The Payment Saver Plan is all-or-nothing: the prescribed participation must be completed in full. If till slips aren't uploaded, purchases don't qualify or the prescribed levels aren't met, your participation for that cycle isn't complete. Car4Less performs the final assessment of every cycle in accordance with the plan terms and the Terms & Conditions.
Do I have to buy a car to join Shop & Save?+
Yes — Shop & Save is part of the Payment Saver Plan that comes with every Car4Less Programme Car. You finance the car through the Car4Less finance application (cash purchases are not permitted and private finance is not accepted) and sign the written plan agreement.
