Eligibility

Who qualifies for the PSP, when eligibility starts and ends, what documentation may be requested and what disqualifies participation.

Eligibility is about who can take part and what must be true for a benefit to arise: a qualifying Car4Less vehicle transaction, the prescribed participation, verifiable evidence, and the successful sale and delivery of a new vehicle attributed to the participant. Finance approval on its own does not qualify anyone; neither does buying a car.

This topic answers when eligibility starts and ends, what documentation may be requested, and the circumstances that disqualify participation.

Eligibility — questions

The questions people ask about eligibility, answered plainly.

Who qualifies for the Payment Saver Plan?

+

Only parties who satisfy the applicable PSP eligibility and participation requirements may qualify: a qualifying Car4Less vehicle transaction, the prescribed participation, verifiable evidence, and a successful sale and delivery attributed to their content.

Is every Car4Less customer automatically eligible?

+

Not necessarily. Eligibility depends upon the applicable PSP requirements. Buying a car through Car4Less is the starting point, not a guarantee of eligibility for any benefit.

Does vehicle finance approval automatically qualify me for PSP cashback?

+

No. Finance approval and PSP eligibility are separate matters, and applicable PSP requirements must still be satisfied.

Does vehicle delivery matter?

+

Where successful sale and delivery form part of the applicable qualifying conditions, the required vehicle delivery must occur before the relevant entitlement arises.

Can a person claim cashback without completing the required participation?

+

No automatic entitlement arises where the applicable participation requirements have not been satisfied. Incomplete or irregular participation does not qualify, however close it came.

What documentation may be required?

+

The participant may be required to provide information or evidence necessary to establish eligibility, participation, performance or a qualifying transaction.

When does PSP eligibility end?

+

Eligibility may end when the applicable participation period or qualifying circumstances end, or where the participant no longer satisfies the PSP requirements.

The Car4Less Payment Saver Plan (PSP) is not an insurance policy, investment, bank deposit, interest-bearing product, dividend programme or guaranteed-income programme. Any cashback, reward or other benefit referred to in connection with the PSP is subject to the eligibility, participation, content, performance, transaction, verification and other requirements in the current PSP Terms & Conditions. Examples are provided for explanatory purposes only and do not create or extend any entitlement. The maximum cashback amount must not be interpreted as an unconditional or automatic payment, and participation alone does not create an entitlement to cashback or rewards. The current Terms & Conditions remain the controlling document and prevail in the event of any inconsistency with this knowledge centre. Read the Terms & Conditions →
