The R3 000 Payment Saver Concept
How the R3 000 maximum works, the fixed R6 500 less R3 000 illustration, and why it is never an automatic reduction of your instalment.
The R3 000 figure is the maximum monthly cashback value available under the plan, and the reason the Payment Saver Plan exists. The illustration used across Car4Less is deliberately fixed: a normal instalment of R6 500, less R3 000 in qualifying cashback, gives an effective instalment of R3 500 (example only; T&C's apply). Your contractual instalment to the bank does not change; the cashback arrives alongside it.
The questions below deal with the limits of that illustration: R3 000 is a maximum for qualifying participants, not an automatic reduction, not achievable without qualifying activity, and not income or an investment return.
The R3 000 Payment Saver Concept — questions
The questions people ask about the r3 000 payment saver concept, answered plainly.
What is the R3 000 Payment Saver concept?
+
The R3 000 Payment Saver concept refers to the maximum applicable cashback opportunity incorporated into the PSP, subject to the participant satisfying the relevant requirements.
Does R3 000 mean my vehicle instalment is automatically reduced by R3 000?
+
No. The R3 000 should not be represented as an unconditional reduction of the contractual vehicle finance instalment.
Can you give an example of how the concept works?
+
For illustrative purposes, if a normal vehicle finance instalment were R6 500 and a participant qualified for R3 000 of applicable PSP cashback, the effective cost after that qualifying cashback could be illustrated as R3 500. This example does not alter the contractual vehicle instalment or guarantee that the participant will qualify for R3 000.
Does the R3 000 apply regardless of performance?
+
No. Applicable cashback remains subject to the relevant PSP requirements, including the content and performance requirements and the successful sale and delivery of a new vehicle tracked back to the participant.
Can I receive the full R3 000 without posting?
+
Not where posting or content participation is an applicable requirement. The relevant PSP requirements must be satisfied.
Can I receive the full R3 000 without qualifying activity?
+
No. The maximum amount should not be treated as automatic or unconditional. It is only available where every qualifying requirement has been satisfied and verified.
Is the R3 000 a guaranteed income?
+
No. It is not guaranteed income. R3 000 is the maximum cashback available to a qualifying participant when every requirement, including the qualifying sale and delivery, has been met.
Is the R3 000 an investment return?
+
No. The PSP is not an investment and the applicable cashback should not be characterised as an investment return.
