Qualifying Sale, Tracking & Delivery
The fundamental PSP requirement: content that leads to a successful new-vehicle sale, tracked back to you, with the vehicle delivered.
The fundamental requirement of the plan in one sentence: your qualifying content must lead to a successful sale of a new vehicle to an independent third-party customer, the sale must be tracked back to you as the originator of that content, and the vehicle must be delivered. Enquiries, leads, quotes, finance applications, finance approvals and reservations are steps along the way. None of them is the completed outcome.
This topic answers the what-if questions around that journey: a lead that never buys, a sale that is never delivered, a delivery that cannot be linked to your content, and two people claiming the same sale.
Qualifying Sale, Tracking & Delivery — questions
The questions people ask about qualifying sale, tracking & delivery, answered plainly.
What is the fundamental principle behind the Car4Less Payment Saver Plan?
+
The fundamental principle is that qualifying participants share qualifying Car4Less content on applicable social-media platforms, with the applicable PSP benefit arising only where that content ultimately contributes to a successful qualifying sale of a new motor vehicle that can be tracked back to the originator of the qualifying content and the vehicle is successfully delivered to the new customer.
Does simply sharing Car4Less content qualify me for cashback?
+
No. Sharing qualifying Car4Less content is an essential participation activity, but sharing content alone does not create an entitlement to cashback. The content must ultimately result in the required successful qualifying vehicle sale, the sale must be capable of being tracked back to the originator of the qualifying content, and the vehicle must be successfully delivered to the new customer.
What must happen after I share qualifying Car4Less content?
+
The qualifying content must generate or contribute to a customer journey that ultimately results in a successful qualifying sale of a new motor vehicle. The completed transaction must be attributable and trackable back to the participant who originated the qualifying content, and the vehicle must subsequently be successfully delivered to the new customer.
What does “tracked back to the originator” mean?
+
It means that the qualifying vehicle sale must be capable of being identified and attributed to the participant who originally shared or originated the qualifying content, using the applicable tracking, identification or verification mechanism prescribed by Car4Less.
Why is tracking the originator important?
+
Tracking establishes the connection between the qualifying social-media content and the successful vehicle transaction. Without an identifiable connection between the qualifying content, its originator and the resulting successful vehicle sale, the applicable PSP benefit cannot automatically be attributed to that participant.
Does a social-media post by itself create a cashback entitlement?
+
No. A social-media post is the participation mechanism, not the completed qualifying outcome. The applicable PSP benefit is dependent upon the qualifying content ultimately resulting in the required successful vehicle sale, being trackable back to its originator, and the vehicle being successfully delivered to the new customer, together with satisfaction of all other applicable PSP requirements.
Does an enquiry qualify as a successful sale?
+
No. An enquiry alone does not constitute a successful vehicle sale. The applicable qualifying process must progress through to the successful sale and delivery of the new motor vehicle.
Does a lead qualify?
+
A lead by itself does not constitute the completed qualifying outcome. The lead must ultimately result in the required successful vehicle sale, the transaction must be trackable back to the originator of the qualifying content, and the vehicle must be successfully delivered to the new customer.
Does a finance application qualify?
+
No. A finance application is not, by itself, a completed vehicle sale. The applicable qualifying transaction must ultimately result in the successful sale and delivery of the new motor vehicle.
Does finance approval qualify?
+
Finance approval alone does not constitute the required successful sale and delivery. The qualifying transaction must be successfully completed and the vehicle delivered to the new customer, with the transaction appropriately tracked back to the originator of the qualifying content.
Does a vehicle reservation qualify?
+
A reservation alone does not constitute the completed qualifying outcome. The vehicle must ultimately be successfully sold and delivered to the new customer, subject to the applicable PSP requirements.
What happens if my content generates a customer but the customer does not buy a vehicle?
+
No applicable PSP cashback or reward entitlement arises merely because the content generated an enquiry, prospect or potential customer. The required qualifying outcome is the successful sale and delivery of the new motor vehicle, together with the required attribution and compliance with the PSP Terms & Conditions.
What happens if the vehicle sale takes place but the vehicle is never delivered?
+
Where successful delivery is a fundamental qualifying requirement, the transaction has not achieved the required completed qualifying outcome until the vehicle has been successfully delivered to the new customer.
What happens if the vehicle is delivered but the sale cannot be tracked back to my content?
+
The applicable PSP benefit cannot automatically be attributed to the participant merely because a vehicle was sold and delivered. The required connection between the qualifying content, its originator and the successful qualifying transaction must be established in accordance with the applicable PSP tracking and verification requirements.
Can two people claim the same vehicle sale?
+
The same qualifying vehicle transaction should not create duplicate entitlements. The applicable tracking and attribution mechanism determines the qualifying originator in accordance with the PSP rules.
What is the complete PSP qualifying journey?
+
The fundamental journey can be understood as: Qualifying Car4Less content → social-media sharing → customer engagement → identifiable originator → trackable customer journey → successful sale of a new motor vehicle → successful vehicle delivery → verification of qualifying requirements → applicable PSP cashback or reward, if all requirements have been satisfied.
Is the successful sale and delivery the most important PSP requirement?
+
It is a fundamental enabling requirement where the applicable PSP Terms & Conditions require a successful sale and delivery. Content participation initiates the qualifying journey, but the applicable PSP benefit does not arise merely from posting or sharing content. The required qualifying outcome must be achieved and appropriately attributed and verified.

The Car4Less Payment Saver Plan (PSP) is not an insurance policy, investment, bank deposit, interest-bearing product, dividend programme or guaranteed-income programme. Any cashback, reward or other benefit referred to in connection with the PSP is subject to the eligibility, participation, content, performance, transaction, verification and other requirements in the current PSP Terms & Conditions. Examples are provided for explanatory purposes only and do not create or extend any entitlement. The maximum cashback amount must not be interpreted as an unconditional or automatic payment, and participation alone does not create an entitlement to cashback or rewards. The current Terms & Conditions remain the controlling document and prevail in the event of any inconsistency with this knowledge centre. Read the Terms & Conditions →
