How the Payment Saver Plan Works

The components of the PSP — participation, Post & Share, performance requirements, cashback and Shop & Save — and how they fit together.

The plan has moving parts that are easy to blur together: social-media participation, Post & Share, the performance and content requirements, cashback, and the separate Shop & Save loyalty programme. Each has its own rules, and none of them creates a payment on its own. The connecting thread is the qualifying outcome: a successful sale and delivery of a new vehicle, attributed to the participant's content.

The questions below walk through how the components fit together, why rules exist, and what happens when a requirement is missed. Your bank finance agreement is untouched throughout. The PSP runs alongside it, never instead of it.

How the Payment Saver Plan Works — questions

The questions people ask about how the payment saver plan works, answered plainly.

What are the main components of the PSP?

+

The PSP can incorporate social-media participation, Post & Share, Shop & Save, performance and content requirements, cashback opportunities and loyalty-partner rewards, subject to the applicable Terms & Conditions.

Do I receive money simply for participating?

+

Not automatically. Participation must satisfy the applicable qualifying requirements before any applicable cashback or reward becomes payable.

Does every participant receive the maximum available benefit?

+

No. The applicable cashback or reward depends upon the participant satisfying the relevant requirements.

Why are there rules attached to the PSP?

+

The rules establish what constitutes qualifying participation and help ensure that cashback and rewards are allocated fairly and consistently.

What happens if I do not comply with the PSP requirements?

+

Failure to satisfy an applicable requirement may mean that the relevant cashback or reward is not earned or payable.

Does participation guarantee that a vehicle will be sold?

+

No. Participation in the PSP does not guarantee that a vehicle will be sold. Sharing content creates the opportunity for a sale; whether a customer buys, and whether that sale can be tracked back to you, is what determines whether any benefit arises.

Does posting on social media guarantee cashback?

+

No. A social-media post alone does not necessarily create an entitlement to cashback. The applicable content, participation, performance and transaction requirements must be satisfied.

Does the PSP replace my vehicle finance agreement?

+

No. The PSP does not replace the vehicle finance agreement. The vehicle finance agreement remains subject to its own terms and conditions.

The Car4Less Payment Saver Plan (PSP) is not an insurance policy, investment, bank deposit, interest-bearing product, dividend programme or guaranteed-income programme. Any cashback, reward or other benefit referred to in connection with the PSP is subject to the eligibility, participation, content, performance, transaction, verification and other requirements in the current PSP Terms & Conditions. Examples are provided for explanatory purposes only and do not create or extend any entitlement. The maximum cashback amount must not be interpreted as an unconditional or automatic payment, and participation alone does not create an entitlement to cashback or rewards. The current Terms & Conditions remain the controlling document and prevail in the event of any inconsistency with this knowledge centre. Read the Terms & Conditions →
