Shop & Save is the second, separate rewards programme in the Car4Less ecosystem. It rewards verified everyday shopping at participating loyalty partners, Checkers, Pick n Pay, Dis-Chem and Shoprite, with reward discounts of up to R3 000 in monthly value. Participants pay the normal price at the till and upload the official slip for verification.

Because it has its own rules, Shop & Save is never added to Post & Share cashback, and a purchase on its own does not create a reward: the qualifying requirements, including the connection to a qualifying new-vehicle sale, apply. The fundamental PSP qualification principle

The Car4Less Payment Saver Plan (PSP) is based on qualifying participants sharing approved Car4Less content through applicable social-media platforms. Sharing or posting content does not, by itself, create an entitlement to cashback or rewards.

The fundamental requirement is that the qualifying content must result in a successful sale of a new motor vehicle to an independent third-party customer, tracked and attributed back to the originator of the content, and the vehicle must be successfully delivered to that customer. That completed sale and delivery is the enabling event upon which any PSP benefit can become payable, subject always to every other eligibility, participation, content, performance, verification and Terms & Conditions requirement.

An enquiry, lead, referral, quotation, finance application, finance approval, reservation or attempted transaction is not, on its own, the required successful sale and delivery.

Does every purchase qualify for a reward?

No. Purchases must satisfy the applicable qualifying requirements, including being made at a participating loyalty partner and being verified from the official till slip under the Shop & Save rules.

Do loyalty rewards automatically reduce my vehicle instalment?

Not necessarily. The treatment and application of any cashback or reward are governed by the applicable PSP arrangements and Terms & Conditions.

Can I receive loyalty rewards without satisfying the PSP requirements?

No automatic entitlement exists merely because a purchase has been made. The applicable requirements must be satisfied.

How can a Shop & Save transaction be verified?

Where required, appropriate transaction or purchase information may be used to verify qualifying activity in accordance with the PSP rules.
